Learn to meditate. For good.

In four 90-minute sessions, learn one of the oldest, simplest and most profound techniques of meditation in the world.

Vedic Meditation

A simple, effortless practice for deep rest.

Vedic Meditation is practiced comfortably with the eyes closed for 20 minutes twice a day. Unlike techniques that ask you to concentrate, control your thoughts, or clear your mind, the practice requires no effort or focus.

Rooted in the ancient Vedic tradition of India, the technique uses a mantra to allow the mind and body to settle naturally into increasingly deep states of rest. With regular practice, that experience begins to influence life outside meditation — supporting greater clarity, resilience and equanimity.

Vedic Meditation + Mindfulness

Mindfulness and Vedic Meditation are distinct practices. Mindfulness trains our capacity to bring awareness to present-moment experience; Vedic Meditation is an eyes-closed resting technique that allows the mind to settle without effort or concentration.

The two are highly complementary: Vedic Meditation cultivates deep rest and adaptability in the nervous system, while mindfulness strengthens our capacity to meet daily life with greater awareness and equanimity.

“It's simple, effortless, and effective. I only wish I had done this years ago.”

Joe, Seattle

“The experience of meditating every day has sort of felt like falling in love. It feels like I’ve found an anchor. But unlike love, it’s not another person. The anchor is me.”

Sasha, Los Angeles

"I couldn't have predicted the positivity that this practice would bring to my life. Many of my anxieties that were previously present have seemed to disappear."

Danielle, Philadelphia

For a deeper introduction to Vedic Meditation, Bradley explains the practice, how it works, and why learning to meditate can become something you carry with you for life.

Bradley Raider

Bradley Raider is the founder of MDT8 and a certified teacher of Vedic Meditation. He has practiced and studied meditation for two decades and trained in the Vedic tradition as a protégé of Maharishi Vyasananda.

His students have included founders and CEOs, physicians, clinical psychologists, attorneys, artists, filmmakers and families — from first-time meditators to people with years of experience in other contemplative practices.

Alongside meditation, Bradley’s work as an award-winning filmmaker, teacher and entrepreneur informs a practical approach to consciousness: how greater equanimity can support creativity, relationships, performance, health and a more fully engaged life.

“Bradley inhabits one of the most genuine, thoughtful and honorable approaches to life that I’ve ever witnessed. As a teacher, he is not only knowledgeable, but is also able to share the wisdom he has developed with compassion, humility, and respect.”

Ashley, Los Angeles

“Bradley’s passion is entirely infectious, and he has a gift for sharing it. He communicates ideas in a patient, thorough, and immediately relatable way. I have seen firsthand his enormous capacity for generosity of spirit and thought, and I feel honored to consider him a mentor.”

Kate, New York

“Bradley is a not just a well studied, fountain of knowledge of the Vedic tradition, but he is a natural teacher and is someone who listens with his heart. I am so grateful he opened my eyes and heart to this tradition as it has changed the way I see things and the way I think.”
